Space21
All of the professional photos on our site currently have been shot by Space21. We had a chance encounter when we were setting up our Overshirts in the front space of Deadset Studios and Dave from Space21 happened to be doing a shoot for their new shop.
From there our relationship has grown and we did a full shoot at Cultybraggan PoW camp and Loch Turret for the Kinnoull and Moncrieffe overshirts.
Cultybraggan
Cultybraggan was ideal as it embodied the Militaria aspect of our design perfectly as well as the colours of the nissan huts complimenting the overshirts. It is located just outside the Perthshire village of Comrie having been created as a prisoner of war camp during the second world war, it is now home to many small businesses and community groups.
Loch Turret
Loch Turret was excellent as it allowed us to contrast the Scottish countryside with elements of industrialism found in the dam on the south end of the loch. We felt that this clash of urban and rural encapsulates our influences, using workwear as a jumping off point but also looking at traditional fabrics that have been used in rural Scotland for generations.
